Located upstairs in main part of the Inn-Second Floor
Directly ahead at the top of the Inn’s main staircase is Sonoran Seranade, inspired by the Northern Mexico desert. This room is considered our smallest room, but it is very generous in size for two people. A lace canopied queen-sized bed highlights this bedroom. A loveseat and desk round out the furnishings of this room, with a tree-top view of the historic downtown area and Church of the Nativity. A Mexican tiled gas fireplace offers warmth on chilly mornings. Sonoran inspired artwork and a Zapotec rug are found on the walls. Heat in your room is provided by our circulating hot water system with British thermostat and a through wall A/C unit is available for summer cooling as well as a window fan.
Walking to the back of Sonoran Seranade one enters the bath area with a large cultured marble vanity. Plush towels and bathrobes are available in the bath area as well as a small closet. A coffeemaker with Seattle’s Best coffee as well as decaf, coffee amenities including all types of sweeteners and International Delight Vanilla creamer, coffee mugs, wine glasses, wine opener along with an in-room refrigerator are all included in Sonoran’s long cultured marble vanity. Hairdryer, makeup mirror, Gilchrist & Soames oatmeal soap, body lotion and conditioning shampoo, a bar of glycerine soap along with our personal toiletry jar filled with makeup remover, Q-tips and cotton balls round out your vanity offerings. An ironing board and iron are found under the vanity. A separate room with a tub/shower combination and toilet are located through the vanity area. Two racks for hanging clothes and two luggage racks are also found in this guest room.
Sonoran Seranade is perfect for the traveling soloist or couple for a week or weekend.
