Canyon Memories

Located upstairs in main part of the Inn-Second Floor
With a north facing view of the San Francisco Peaks, Canyon Memories is our “Room with a View”. Designed in the original character of the house, Canyon Memories furnishings are decidedly Craftsman. The partially canopied queen sized bed is of Mission character. Two antique Stickley rocking chairs with table provide a pleasant seating area to enjoy a drink and watch TV or enjoy the gas fireplace. An original painted mural inspired by the Grand Canyon, along with a number of regional photos, give tribute to Northern Arizona’s wonders. A Craftsman style desk with Tiffany style lamp and dresser line the south wall of the room. Heat in your room is provided by our circulating hot water system with British thermostat and a through wall A/C unit is available for summer cooling as well as an overhead ceiling fan and window fan.

Private Bath
Down four steps in the back of the guest room, this modern generous sized bathroom has a tub/shower combination and cultured marble vanity. Plush towels and bathrobes are available in the bath area as well as a small closet. A coffeemaker with Seattle’s Best coffee as well as decaf, coffee amenities including all types of sweeteners and International Delight Vanilla creamer, coffee mugs, wine glasses, wine opener along with an in-room refrigerator are all included in Canyon Memories’ long cultured marble vanity.
Hairdryer, makeup mirror, Gilchrist & Soames oatmeal soap, body lotion and conditioning shampoo, a bar of glycerine soap along with our personal toiletry jar filled with makeup remover, Q-tips and cotton balls round out your vanity offerings. An ironing board and iron are found in the bathroom closet.

Canyon Memories is the ideal retreat for you and your loved one for a week or weekend, especially if you want “A Room with a View”.
